this isn’t a plea for abstinence, people. it’s about asexual visibility. it’s about people from all sides saying “but what’s the point if you don’t have sex?” and “come on, everyone wants sex,” and “um, why don’t you guys just call yourself ‘friends’ if you’re not interested in each other sexually?” and “you just haven’t met the right man/woman/person yet. when you do, you’ll want sex.” it’s for aces who are in romantic relationships with sexuals or other asexuals who constantly face people who don’t understand, don’t want to understand, and flat-out don’t believe in asexuality.
that’s why this graphic is in black, grey, white, and purple. those are the colors used on asexual pride images and flags.
